Welcome to Our Family Web Site !!

     Our first family reunion was held in the Mt. Lebanon Church Grove, Somerset County, Pennsylvania on July 6th 1952.   This location was about a mile from the homestead farm of our immigrant ancestor, Philipp Burbach.

     A reunion has been held in Somerset County every year since then.  A family association has been organized and over the years has published several histories of the family, preserved the original family cemetery where Philipp and his wife are buried, and promoted the continuing documentation of the history of our family.

     The fiftieth family reunion was held on July 8th of 2001.   A new family history will soon be published and this web site has been established to improve communications among family members.
